How do I remove blank rows from a CSV file?

Drop the file on the tool above with "Remove blank rows" ticked (it is on by default) and click Download CSV. Rows where every cell is empty are removed.

How do I trim spaces in a CSV file?

"Trim spaces" removes spaces, tabs and non-breaking spaces from the start and end of every cell. Tick "Turn double spaces into one" to also tidy spaces inside the text.

How do I do this in Excel?

Excel needs several steps: =TRIM() in a helper column for spaces, then Go To Special › Blanks › Delete for blank rows. This tool does all of it in one pass.

Will cleaning change my numbers or dates?

No. Values are kept exactly as they appear; only the fixes you tick are applied.

Are my files uploaded?
